Keeps seeing ads for it as a cheaper ozempic alternative. Anyone try it? |
I’m on compounded semaglutide now. I just started the max dose last week. So far no pounds lost. I was on Ozempic 2 years ago and started losing as soon as I started, during the ramp up phase. With this, nothing. I don’t know if it just works slower or what. |
I get their Tirzepatide compound, which is a little bit more than the semaglutide. It’s been a great user-friendly experience, and I’ve definitely had good success so far. |
Watching this. Interested in the semaglutide pills they’re offering too. |
I used Henry meds semaglutide last year to lose 20 lbs. It worked. It took me 3 weeks to lose the first pounds, it was pretty steady after that (but that's also how I lose weight in general). I think it was a total of 16 weeks. No complaints. Easy peasy. |
The pills aren’t nearly as effective and must be taken daily (Rybelsus). |
I haven’t heard of anyone having trouble with compounded meds from reputable sources. They are fantastic. |
PP here. When I say max dose, I’m talking 20 units. it’s the max on my first vial of the medicine. |
20 units is a very low dose. Is it the max dose because you have a small injection needle that only holds 20? I would ask if you can ramp up sooner. 40 was the sweet spot for me. And I had to ask them to send me different needles so I didn't have to do 2 injections to get to 40. |
Have they been reliable and available? Seems too good to be true. |
My DH is using it becuase our insurance refused to pay for these drugs. He is having great success. Has been obese since childhood and looks and feels amazing. |
Wanting wegovy have no script. Need months supply
Price AUD |
Been on compounded semaglutide for about a year though Henry Meds at $299 a month. Am within 8 pounds of goal weight. My next check-in should be coming up but I haven't been contacted yet. Anyone on Henry Meds gotten a shipment after the May 22 change? |
Fwiw, I tried Rybelsus and had bad side effects and didn't lose weight. Then I tried Wegovy and have still had side effects, but less, and have lost over 65lbs. YMMV, but there is a reason the default script is injection when people don't like injections. |
Then I'm guessing you know few, if any, on compounds. |
