Waterfront restaurant with teens?

Anonymous
My teenager is working at an overnight camp all summer and then going to college (sniff sniff). BUT, she's coming home this weekend for the change of sessions and wants to go out to dinner with us and her boyfriend. Where can we take them?

Great ceasar salad and seafood.

Have you looked around the Wharf in DC? Lots of options there

You need to say where you are. Colorado Springs? Jersey Shore? Maryland? London? There are people here from all over the world.

Oh weird, I thought since this was DCUM it was DMV. We are in Maryland (Montgomery county but we can drive up to an hour).

Haven’t been to the wharf but looking for somewhere easy to park and non-chaotic.

This is a DC area message board. "The waterfront" means the SW Waterfront. This post is specific.

How classy are we talking? Because Island Time Bar n' Grill on columbia island in the potomac has immaculate florida vibes. not the best seafood, but the best "almost on the beach" bar experience in the DMV. Can be reached by car, technically it's in arlington.

Wharf has lots of fun seafood options.

Navy Yard riverfront also offers great options. On days with no baseball game, its less crowded and a mile away from the Wharf. Saltline is good.

Cafe 44 in Old town? It's called something else now...

Tony and Joe's at the Georgetown waterfront.
Rappahannock Oyster Bar at the Wharf.

Yes, but they don't have a caesar salad on the menu.

Within and hour of Moco? How about Annapolis. This is a favorite of ours: https://carrolscreek.com/menus/

I'm this poster. You'll probably find easier parking in Georgetown than the Wharf. Tony and Joe's has lots of outdoor seating. I went last Saturday at 5:30pm, with no reservation, and was seated immediately, with a perfect view of the water.

The wharf has some big underground parking lots

True, you can find parking lots at both places, really. I don't know what the OP considers non-chaotic parking. I live in DC and am used to street parking; I find street parking in Georgetown easy but not easy at the Wharf.
