Plants will be happy. I've been having to go out and water every other day with the heat and drought. Got 8 bug bites yesterday. Weather forecast calls for rain tomorrow and next day, maybe, too. yay.

Sucks for the commute, though. Sorry to the commuters. I wfh.

Not raining in SE, DC. I hope it's moving in this direction, though.

Just lost power in Rockville

I'm in downtown Bethesda, it's gone all dark, I hear the storm, but NO RAIN. I think this is going to graze us to the north.

Pouring in Rockville...still have power.

I got three severe thunderstorm warnings in 40 minutes and we have not particularly hard rain and thunder in Kensington. But the mail carrier is walking up my street right now, so at least he’s benefiting from it not raining much even if the plants aren’t.

Looks like rain both north and south of DC, but not gonna go over the district. 😞

I'm in DC (NW) and we definitely just got DUMPED on. But it didn't last long and it's over now. I'll take it, though!

We did end up getting 15 minutes of intense downpour and gusts. Better than nothing!

It POURED in NW D.C., so if the storm did miss Bethesda, it wasn't (just) to the north.

We didn't get any storms in 22152 that night. Hoping for rain without a damaging storm tonight. My plants really need it. Watering just isn't the same.

My rain gauge in 22152 says we got just under a half inch yesterday.

That rain was no where near what ALL areas need.
