One of the rooms did not have a timer so kids couldn’t pace themselves. Proctor did not know what to do, so did nothing. DS was furious since he couldn’t pace himself. Many kids were upset. Is it worth complaining to be able to take it again?
your kid can already take it again. But sure, complain also.
Did they finish?
the student is supposed to rely on thsemself. Google ACT and timer.
My kid was there too. It was pretty unfair since the other classrooms all had timers. Not equitable. My kid did not finish.
The ACT is clear that the student can bring in whatever timing tools they need. ACT says only that there may be a clock in the room but not to expect it |

Math/science might be OK, but expect a low score for English Reading/Comprehension
Wear a watch next time.

Kids are supposed to bring their own timer or watch in case there is no clock in the room. It’s weird that they don’t just ensure there is a clock on the wall in every test room, but they don’t and this is communicated before the test date.
There is a specific ACT timer you can but on Amazon. Don’t rely on the room. |
