Private party room for 40 people?

We’re looking for a private room in a nice restaurant (or even possibly an entire small restaurant) that can accommodate 40 people for a Saturday lunch. Ideally Bethesda or upper NW. Especially welcome suggestions from anyone who has experience hosting this type of event.

“Nice” doesn’t narrow things down very much, so here are some initial suggestions. Maggianno’s in Friendship Heights NW has private rooms. Mei Wah in Friendship Heights MD has private areas. Both of these restaurants can accommodate groups of that size. Clyde’s is also worth a call.
Praline Bakery and Bistro — in Bethesda — would meet your requirements too.

Maybe not what looking for, but Chuy’s in Springfield has a party room seats 45. Just saw the sign out front as I walked in then read this thread! Lol

Not a hotspot but we had a delicious family get together for about 30 upstairs in Yosaku in Tenleytown. Their second floor is for private parties and it was quite nice to have the floor to ourselves with our own waiters, have trays of sushi with cocktails and then a 3 course meal.

Our law school friends hosted a delightful baby shower for us at Equinox years ago. We went to their vegan brunch but had a private room for the event (it was a small group - maybe 10 people), but they also have multiple private dining options. The food was fantastic and the environment lovely.
