What do you eat before a workout?
I was starving so I ate 2 turkey sausage patties, lol. |
Mint water! Water with a drop of mint esssential oil or crushed mint from my garden - gives me extra stamina |
I do this funky cocktail but it’s okay and supposed to be good for you. I generally don’t eat before a workout but fuel up on protein after.
1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar (with the mother) 2 tbs of chia seeds Fresh lemon juice (about1/2 a lemon or a whole) 1 tsp of honey Mix and drink through a straw |

Protein shake if morning.
Greek yogurt and banana if afternoon/evening. |
Half an apple with a tablespoon of nut butter |
A banana or 2 belvita breakfast biscuits (half a pack) |
I used to eat half a pb&j and a banana about an hour before. I don't want to feel anything in my stomach while working out. |
Coffee. Maybe 1-3 Hershey Kisses.
I don't know how people workout with anything substantial in their stomach - ie, anything that takes up more than a 1/2 cup of volume. |

I just had two Yasso bars before my workout. I hate that they are so expensive now. |
A banana if working out first thing in the morning. If not, just eat as normal but workout 45-60’ after last eating. |
Usually nothing.
If I know I'm low on fuel, half a banana or half a protein bar. |
This is actually great for after a hard workout or a strength workout. |
