The poster who thinks the answer is for everyone to go to therapy. |
Exactly! I’d rather share fictional stories that express my fears. Who cares if they are real or not - it’s just how I FEEL that is important. |
Posters spreading misinformation. |
Well, you certainly have a skill for useless derailment, I will give you that. But no skill whatsoever for cogent argument. |
Argument over what exactly? Someone’s “feelings”? Can’t have a productive discussion without facts. |
The "I will gouge your eyes out if you are not wearing a mask," hypocrite!
Who has kids in person in school and is not afraid to get close enough to you to gouge your eyes out, even though you are vaccinated and following county guidelines. So, she is that scared of covid that she wants everyone to wear masks, but she is not scared enough to get so close to your so you can breathe all over her while she is gouging your eyes. |
Now you are off topic for this thread while simultaneously demonstrating exactly why you are both a most annoying DCUM poster and an incompetent debater. |
I will confront misinformation whenever I see it. Guess that annoys some people who don’t care for facts or reason. Happy to have a rational discussion with anyone based in reality. Those people are few and far between on DCUM. |
You don't have the capacity for rational discussion. |
The "$400k HHI is middle class!" DCUM-er |
There you go - struggling with facts again. Go start a thread based on facts - not feelings - and I’ll join you. |
it's not? |
For people who grew up MC, $400k in the DC area sure doesn’t feel that much different. Still just a cog in the machine. |
- and this is not a left or right wing thing, just an annoying habit of some passive-aggressive posters … |
There might be a lot of us. I am in therapy for relatively minor reasons, and it has blown me away what a difference it is making in my life. The mild anxiety I experienced is gone and I am a more functional person. There is this weird stigma about therapy that it's only for the seriously troubled. It's not. The right therapist can make anyone's life just a bit better. So it's not an insult, it's a sincere suggestion. |
