Except the House and senate are still moving forward with a recission bill and dismantling core parts of our government.

It’s about getting it out in the open, getting it on the record. It might not have an immediate effect (somehow!) but it would eventually. An impeachment effort would start and we’d once again force the enablers in the Republican Party to go on record, this time to support a child rapist. Remember, they won’t be in charge forever. Trump won’t be around forever.
