Colleges that are lesbian friendly

Anonymous
When I google this, the broader queer umbrella comes up, which is great, but I would like to know more about the environment for lesbians in particular, as LGBTQ+ friendly could still be dominated by another group. My DD wants LGBTQ+ friendly, but that could look very different from one school to the next.

Anyone able to share some insights here? Also, my DD isn't overly political - so she's not looking for an activist bent, just a community.

I would imagine any women’s college

And schools with strong arts programs

My daughter is headed to a small co Ed school in MA that is very well know for performing arts. She is entering as a dance major, but with the intention to double major. It is an incredibly open environment.

Pretty much any school would be fine these days. Most younger people really don't care.

I agree. Other than the very religious schools, what schools aren't good for lesbians these days?
