I don't know about Longfellow, but both of my kids taking Alg 1 Hn at a different FCPS middle school didn't need any special calculator. They mostly used an online calculator on their FCPS laptop, not a handheld device.
The older kid finally needed the graphing calculator we bought him way back in 8th grade geometry to take the AP Calc BC exam in 11th grade. First time he's used it after sitting in his desk drawer for 3.5 years. |
