Snowy? Are you too lazy to do any research?

2 seconds of googling found this: https://www.nps.gov/badl/planyourvisit/weather.htm

Average highs in the 60's.

Thank you for your input. I am not lazy. I already googled all the weather information for the region, but I read some blogs saying it was snowy in the past and/or windy.
I just wanted some first hand experience in the forum if anyone visited and hiked TRAILS in badlands during that month and if so, was is too cold or windy or something else more detailed that I couldn’t find in google. I’m about to spend a lot of money and wanted to double check with the forum in case there were some other isssuesin traveling in Oct that I didn’t think of or find in a google search. Isn’t that what this forum is for!?

Maybe you're not experienced enough to go into the outdoors. The National Park Service page has good, reliable data. Someone's anecdote about a one time event isn't helpful.

More to the point: you asked about whether it is generally "too cold or snowy". That was answered by the National Park Service page.

It could be windy. It is definitely windier out there than it is here, but that should not stop you.

Such a snarky reply, PP.
Visited in mid October 2020 and it was very cold and snowy. So it does happen. But it was unusual and warmed up after we left.

NP. Maybe you aren't civilized enough to be typing away at people on the internet?
