New homeowner. I have a pawpaw growing up inside a hydrangea that flowers well. It’s clear prior owners kicked the can and kept pruning the pawpaw out which keeps trying to come back with suckers. How hard is it to just remove this and will I have to remove both to do it?
Didn’t you post earlier?
I did. Since then I dived in and tried to cut back the paw paw myself but I can see in doing so that one or more previous owners has been fighting this fight for a while and now I am asking whether it’s harder to eliminate than I thought.
Why not live with it? Pawpaws are great
I’d dig up the hydrangea and replant it.
Because it’s coming up in the middle of my hydrangea. And it doesn’t give fruit. I’m not even 100% certain it’s really a pawpaw, but that’s what Picture This said it is. |
