Recommendations for club swim at Audrey Moore Rec Center

Anonymous
We live very close to Audrey Moore Rec Center and this summer our son has started mentioning that he is interested in doing winter swim this year. During my limited research I noticed there are a few teams that practice out of there, so does anyone have a recommendation regarding which program is the best at this pool?

Machine and Marlins have the most lane space. I think Fish at Audrey Moore is more experienced swimmers; their younger groups are at Spring Hill. You should contact teams and ask for him to audit a practice. Talk to the coaches and go with whichever one fits your schedule and your son's vibe best. There are VERY limited practices right now, and they're ending very soon-- reach out sooner rather than later.

I didn't think this was allowed as per USA swimming rules. I thought you had to be a member of USA swimming in order to be a visiting swimmer. Clubs like to know visiting swimmers' usual yardage and a couple of best times in order to place them with the appropriate group. If I'm wrong, it's a generous policy for clubs to let non club swimmers join a practice.

We are a marlins family and have had a great experience the last few years at Audrey Moore. You can go on the website and conduct a tryout for which level might be appropriate for your swimmer.
