Too early for local tomatoes?

I’m cooking out on Thursday and it would be great if I could find some lovely ripe Beefsteak or similar tomatoes for slicing.
Is it too early to find these at a farmers market? What’s my best bet?
I’m in Reston.

They should be available. I have a handful in my garden and I didn't plant super early. It depends on the variety.
