Fireworks and rain?

There's a high chance of rain Thursday afternoon/evening. It's almost a relief because I'm always looking for an excuse to not sit there for hours waiting in the heat. What do you all think? Cancel/delay fireworks or on with the show?

We stopped going years ago. Not a whole lot to celebrate this year. Sadly.

Why do you feel so obligated to go if it does not rain?
