PVS meet schedule

When does the meet schedule for 2024-25 get announced by PVS? Looking at some weekends away in the winter so was hoping to see the meet schedule.

Sorry - just found it.

You reminded me I should be looking at that as well. Sad, but true.

Thanks! We are with RMSC and new to the club. Does anyone know what meets they participate in? My kid is in the minis.

Thanks for sharing this. However, not all are the same. There is one October meet last year called “Eat n Meet Mini Meet” but I am not seeing this on the PVS schedule. Or the one in Oct.

Those meets may eventually be in the “other sanctioned meets” tab on the PVS meet site.

It's cute how PVS would never schedule a meet on Christmas or Easter or Good Friday, but has no problem holding a bunch of major meets on Yom Kippur

That is pretty terrible. Sorry PP. And it isn't like they will change now.

Your definition of major doesn't align with the standard definition of the word.

Yom Kippur, and a weekend when many area school systems have long weekends.

Skipping the October Open won't derail your kid's swimming career. If it's really a problem for you or your family, just ask your club to consider participating in another meet on a different weekend.

+1

Also, there are meets on literally every weekend in October (and November).
