What to pay neighbor kid to pick up our mail?

What’s a reasonable amount to pay a middle schooler to pick up our mail/packages while we are on vacation for a week?

What about mail and taking trash/recycling to the curb and returning them after pick up?

What about all of the above plus watering outdoor plants?

I’m not sure if you know that you can stop your mail at the post office for free. They will deliver or you can pick it up when you are back. As far as packages and watering the plants so I would say 5-10 dollars a day. That shouldn’t take but 15 minutes.

Stop your mail for free. Don't have packages on order and have a friend/neighbor keep an eye on your porch just in case. The only thing requiring money is watering outdoor plants and assuming you are not Meadowlark Gardens, $10 per visit is plenty for a tween/very young teen. It will take them 20 minutes or less.

I do $50 per week for a neighborhood kid who does the same, plus feeds the cat. I move my plants to be covered by the lawn sprayers.
