Boarding denied, conflicting stories

A woman claims she was denied boarding due to misgendering an air steward. United claims it was due to having too many carry-ons. An airline representative in a smartphone video taken by the passenger suggests it was due to the passenger being verbally abusive.

The too many carry-ons explanation makes no sense to me because she had a toddler with a car seat. The carry-on allowance with a small child is very generous, and the airline can always gate check some bags.

No idea, but I have zero trust in fox claiming someone was harmed by not being political correct. When people (amplified by fox) claim they were punished because they were perceived as anti-trans, there is almost always something else going on.

Pretty sure she used the excuse of a kid to try to board with too much stuff then was extremely rude and insulting when told it was not okay. The captain insisted she be removed, this was way more than “accidental” misgendering.

Even the woman admits she made a stink about preboarding. Perhaps that contributed?

She also complained about not being able to get their checked luggage because it allegedly had medication. Who puts medication in checked bags?

I don't know about you guys, but I am 100% over these "shock value" stories about bad travelers/mistreatment by airlines. I believe that most of it is made up now just because someone wants to go viral.
