sewer line quote

If you have recently had your sewer line replaced in the DMV, i welcome suggestions and people to avoid.

I got a quote to replace a cast-iron pipe from house to outside which is completely deteriorated on the bottom and from that to the public system. So about 7 feet inside and about 30 feet outside. 12K. Sound reasonable?

the part outside currently looks ok but figured while replacing it, let's just do the total thing so we don't have to worry about another repair as we retire in place.

Thoughts?

Sounds very reasonable based on recent inquiries I've made to do the same in an old house in Fairfax.
