Best restaurants in DC or close in suburbs for raw oysters and other sea food?

Clydes has consistently good oysters. Really.
Saltline also has good selection/variety and very fresh oysters.

Agree on Saltline- I also like King St Oyster Bar and Rappahannock Oyster Bar.

I agree with Clyde’s. Annapolis has a few places, including McGarvey’s.

AKA Old Ebbit Grill is well known for their oysters. They have a whole festival (or they used to).

It's hard to screw up oysters. As long as you have good suppliers, you just need to have someone that knows how to shuck them.
