| The law on this is different in different places. In DC, it's legal to ride two abreast in a bike or mixed lane as long as it doesn't impede the flow of traffic. It's also legal for a bicycle to move up next to stopped cars to come to the front of an intersection. |

| Single file. No idea of the law but I’ve never seen a bike lane wide enough to ride side by side in the same direction safely. |

Yes, they were not fitting in the bike lane and they were also talking to each other and not really paying attention to the rest of the road. |

| It's really upsetting. You never see drivers blocking traffic and not caring. Well, ok we double park sometimes but that's just for a minute so it's ok. |
