We lived on a street with dueling political signs. I appreciated the house that put out the commercial sized Biden sign across from the Trump woman with a hundred signs and a life size cutout of Trump in her window.

I’d put up a Trump sign too, but there are way too many Democrats around here who in their heart of hearts, believe it is a crime to be on the other side. I’d be lucky if all that happened was somebody pooping on the lawn.

I wouldn't do a single thing, OP. Trump deserves to be terminally humiliated, and his supporters are a either calculating corporates or a few fries short of a Happy Meal. But it's their First Amendment right to express themselves on their property, and I would have no interest in a sign war. They know where they live. They're probably itching for a fight. Don't give them the satisfaction. Ignoring them will make them suffer more.

Op is posting online about her dislike of her neighbor’s Trump sign, and you know the neighbor wants to fight with op? And the neighbor is going to suffer because people in her neighborhood won’t fight her?

You know now they will be watching for Trump signs and imagining anyone who has one will want to fight them. It’s not safe to have a Trump sign if neighbors get upset that someone has one in their yard, especially if democrats think it means you are spoiling for a neighborhood brawl. I can’t imagine living by people who watch me and make up scenarios about fighting me in their heads and online.
