Hi! I am planning on hosting a birthday party for about 13-14 adults and maybe a few kids at Brookeville beer farm for my sister. Since it will be late afternoon, no reservations are possible as I just found out. Anyone ever done that?

depends on the day and time, plus whatever they have going on in their events calendar.
Lone Oak is another one you may want to check out. |
Or Silo Falls. They take reservations, then once you are through with dinner they have a wonderful bar/patio, outside area to roam and hang out.

I have only been to Brookeville a few times but have always gone when they first open. You might have trouble finding a spot for parking and a table for that many people in the afternoon.
Look at Loan Oak. They have a lot more parking, and it might look crowded when you arrive but they have a huge open outdoor space (field) versus Brookebille. At Loan Oak, they have picnic tables, but if you don't get a picnic table, there are many grassy areas where you can put a picnic blanket and chairs. You can always drive by both places before making a decision around the time you are planning to go. They are close to each other. Obviously, it depends on the day regarding how crowded it is, but it might give you a better idea of which one you want to pick. |
Brookville is great!
We really love Brookeville but not sure about the space availability-it’s always packed whenever we went! Maybe others can comment on best time to go?
I agree with Lone Oak--much easier with large groups. And you can rent tables/tents in advance to ensure you have a spot.
With 13-14 adults you should be okay. There’s usually a few picnic tables open…especially in the sun.
Adding Waradeca for future researchers
Stone silo is another good one, and a little tamer than Brookeville. Good food cart too.
