Speeding ticket citation

My son was stopped in VA for a speeding violation (20 miles over). We are from the Midwest. I understand it's considered a misdemeanor. How do we go about getting the charge reduced? Should we get legal representation? Is so, any recommendations for someone in the Bristol, VA area?

Get a lawyer in Washington County. It will cost between $500 and $1,000. If he has a clean record they can probably plead it down to a regular speeding ticket.

Reckless driving means jail time. Take it seriously.
