Quiet Michelin Star restaurant for special occasion?

What is your favorite old or new local DC restaurant that is either quiet, or has a lovely outdoor space for a special romantic dinner? Don't care about the price--but do care that the food is amazing and the ambiance is lovely, and quiet enough to relax.

Looking at the List, the only one I would say is quiet and has nice ambiance is Fiola.

My husband hates noisy restaurants and too many of them are just too loud to have a conversation.

The only thing with Fiola is you have to eat from 3 choice menus and you may not like all the items on it.

I thought Causa and El Cielo were both pretty quiet. Masseria has a great outdoor patio.

Expand your geographic limits and you'll have lots of choices for quality, quiet restaurants, although not necessarily with Michelin recognition, e.g. Inn at Little Washington, L'Auberge Chez Francois, Restaurant at Patowmack Farm, Three Blacksmiths, Goodstone Inn, L'Auberge Provencale, etc.

Fiola was terrible. Really bad. Please don’t pick that.

Fools is bad. To be honest, 1 star restaurants around here are truly overrated. Take the money and hire a personal chef for a fabulous meal in.

Would you enjoy the chef's table at Imperfecto?
