Cymbalta and constipation And HRT?

Anybody else experience this? I'm on it for new arthritis pain. The doc took me down 10 mg after the side effects but my bowels are still sluggish and I can't get rid of the bloated feeling/indigestion. It works great for the joint issues but this can't be it for my choices for meds, right? The doc made it sound like I didn't have a lot of other options. I am thinking about my gut so much of the day I'm not sure it's worth it. The arthritis does not feel like outright pain but more creakiness. I'm also going to start HRT soon and wonder if that will make any difference.
