Not because there is anything wrong with any of these but because they are either totally random (and do not matter at all) or actually do matter but not something you can earn:
Being tall Being super tiny (if you are a woman) Being born in the 70s Having traveled extensively as a child Having a doctor as a parent |
Bragging about not knowing how to cook. |
Giving their child a cell phone.
Putting their child on birth control. |
I don't think people are proud of these things they just come up in conversation. You don't value any of these things, or want them and do not have them, so hearing about them irritates you that is all. |
Being born in whichever city/state/country |
As a woman who is 6’2… it always comes up in conversation (and not initiated by me). |
Being workaholics. |
Having a kid at a prestigious college. |
What is special about being born in the 70s? |
Stealing credit from coworkers to get ahead
|
We are a small cohort |
I would be proud of that too and not see it as something "not" to be proud of. This sounds more like the poster with the answer has a terrible case of envy. |
Football. Bonus points for parents who live through their kid via their football. |
I was born in the 70s. Yay! I didn’t know I should be so proud of that. |
Why is that? |
