Replace car key - costs these days?

Lost one of our two car keys. We live in a city and park in a garage so we need two. Anyone done this recently?

We are going to get a new-ish car soon enough but will most likely keep this one so am inclined to do it even though I'm mad at losing it!

It's a 2018 Toyota if that matters.

You need to take the remaining one to the dealer to have a new one programmed. Some people say a locksmith will do it but haven't tried that.

I think it’s usually $250-300.

I was at Wheaton Costco yesterday and there was a setup in the parking lot, and a kiosk inside.
