| I may be over thinking this but, is it okay to wear t-shirts with another camps logo to a different camp? For example, wearing Norwood t-shirt to a Lowell or Landon camp? DS has several t-shirts from different camps and was wondering if it's okay to wear them to other day camps. TIA |
| No. Your kid will be tossed out |
You think? |
| You're overthinking it. It's fine. |
| OP here - lol - thanks for the replies. |
| Well, I wouldn't, but that's just me. |
| It's ok to do it, but I wouldn't do it on any day where they may be off-site from the camp (pool, etc.) for safety reasons. |
| Sometimes I bring my canvas Trader Joe's tote when I shop at Whole Foods. I'm just wild and crazy like that. |
Not the same. A better analogy is I wouldn't wear a shirt with a previous employer's logo to my current workplace. I think it's okay to wear a different camp's t-shirt but understand that some may not feel comfortable doing that. |
I like to wander around the AT&T store doing this
|
THat's not a good analogy. Stakes are high at a job - that's how you earn money to avoid being homeless. This is a kid at (probably) a one-week camp. |
This is the only time I'd worry, but I know some camps throw a big shirt over everyone's clothes on those days anyways. |
| Jesus Christ. |
| If I had a younger kid, especially in a non-athletic context (e.g. art camp, general day camp, etc . . . ) I wouldn't think twice about this. On the other hand, I wouldn't send a 13 year old boy, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't choose to wear a shirt from SJC lacrosse camp to Landon lacrosse camp. |
| Isn't the entire point of wearing a camp T-shirt to confirm that the kid is a camper at the camp they are actually attending? If you can't wear the right camp T-shirt, you can wear any T-shirt. Don't bother with a different camp T-shirt. |
