Anniversary Restaurant—Tomorrow

Oops. I was in charge of making reservations and I am so swamped I…forgot. It’s not a major anniversary, but still. My bad!

I checked several places I saw on on the Eater “new list” and they are booked. I didn’t think a Tuesday would be hard!

Suggestions for a less than $50/pp, nice atmosphere but not super fancy (more laid back) maybe outdoor space, anywhere in DC?

We like anything except Mexican, Chinese, steakhouses. We’d love a newer restaurant place to try!

My go to has been Dauphine’s in McPherson Square. Reasonable, cool space and good food.
