I was just wondering if anyone belonged to this congregation and could give us some thoughts on it. How big of a congregation is it? Is it kind of new wave, hippy? We live in CC and so making the trek down to Gallery Place has to be worth it, but t sounds like it could be a pretty neat place. . . . |
There is no congregation or permanent rabbi at the 6th & I. There are a variety of different groups that hold services there as well as use the facilities for concerts, lectures, etc. I believe it can be rented out for a variety of occasions. The building is beautiful.
If you are looking for a laid back, hippy-vibe synagogue check out Temple Micah on Wisconsin Avenue. |
