Then I should be in for a rate reduction because I’m a very sedate driver. The accelerometer in my phone is probably pretty bored.

I have my insurer’s app that already logs my driving voluntarily for a discount. At first I was resistant, but I barely drive anywhere during the week and am very boring, so it’s showing me a 40% discount at next renewal.

How do they know who is driving? My life 360 app give a driver report and reports 100s of instances of using a phone while driving....but if I'm a passenger in a car and using my phone, the app won't know if I'm driving or not and just think I'm on my phone the whole time
