How were your promotion ceremonies?

8th grade: pretty uplifting. I have some high hopes for these kids.

As a former teacher, it was fun sitting through one as a parent for a change.
I felt all warm and fuzzy when the principal said they'd completed all requirements and were officially high school students.

Deal’s promotion ceremony was very inspiring with great emphasis on the next steps for high school and beyond.

Stokes fifth grade graduation was very well done. Great speaker and fun student speeches and songs. Nice brunch afterward for students and their families.

Outside in direct sunlight. Kids didn’t walk for awards and promotion certificates, they just stood up as a group while teachers called names. After, the kids had to search a crowded playground for their teachers to get their awards.
