Cleveland Park townhouse in market after two years?

Anonymous
Love this house but wondering if there is something wrong with it since it was sold about two years ago. I see that it was flipped by Dilan (not sure if that is good or bad). Any insights?

Dilan is terrible! Run as far away as you can!

They do cheap flips that aim photograph well (although that isn’t even true sometimes because if you know what to look for you can spot the red flags in the photos oftentimes). The quality of their construction and design is really poor.

100% agree. We've been really unimpressed by the few Dilan homes we've seen. Total rush jobs, with generic interiors and cut corners everywhere. It's tragic how they remove the personality from nice older homes.

I am wondering if there are issues with this one. It's a pretty competitive area and it has been sitting for over a week.

I remember this one. It looks nice, but I can't imagine paying that much money for it:

1) They included a floor plan - closet space is terrible

2) Tiny yard (even by rowhouses standards). And this neighborhood has a lot of SFHs

3) While the market has moved up since 2022, this was new in 2022, so I wouldn't except to get 10-15% bump since 2022.

4) Look at the door to nowhere above the staircase heading to the 2nd floor. It appears to be a utility closet - good luck with getting your A/C serviced up there! I'm sure there are other quirks like this.

What's up with the railing going down into the basement? Aren't railings usually vertical? This one is weirdly tilted...
