Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve heard of this happening later in pregnancy, but not so early on. I’m 33 years old, it’s my second pregnancy, which was healthy except for having gestational diabetes, but my doctor suspects I may have failed the test because of my PCOS. Is this something to contact my doctor over or wait until my appointment on the 28th?
It could be carpal tunnel, which gets worse in pregnancy. Or have you had migraine with aura? Mine got much worse in pregnancy and included tingling in my hands.
Second the migraine with aura. I have dealt with migraines before pregnancy, but never with aura. With my first, I had a traveling numbness that made me think I was having a stroke and ended up in the ER at 10 weeks. It ended up being migraine with aura. I had it happen again in my second pregnancy right around the same time, and luckily was able to recognize use it as the migraine. |
I had carpal tunnel and it was so scary! I’d wake up with my hands asleep every night over and over again.
Your PCOS definitely didn't cause you to get GD this early. You were probably pre diabetic to begin with and now it's a crisis.
Probably peripheral neuropathy from being diabetic.
