I'm at the point I want to pay someone to help me move out of state, I mean the whole thing, picking a town, picking a single family house, does this exist?
I currently live in NOVA and want to move somewhere north of MD, just don't know where. I work form home so I don't need to be super close to a big city, however if I needed decent medical care it should be close enough to drive to. School districts don't matter. I'd like somewhere a little more conservative than NOVA. I'm a very simple person like parks and nature. I don't go out to fancy restaurants as I cook for myself. As I get older I don't need a ton of museums or theatre either anymore. I'd love cooler summers but not too much snow as I love to walk outside in the fall and winter. I've always rented apartments and would really love to be a homeowner. I'd love a brick ranch style house. Anyway can you all help me or can I pay someone to research areas and find me a single family house does a service like this exist? Thanks for reading and helping. |
Bump! |
They exist, but they’re very location specific. We worked with one for a corporate relocation, and they arranged all the rental showings, helped us find a preschool, etc. your best pet is to figure out where you want to be and then find someone to help you pick within the region. |
It's usually for international moves and usually paid for through an employer. |
have you tried googling relocation specialist maryland |
Harrisburg, PA or grand rapids, MI. The latter gets more snow. |
Yeah, they're super good at RELOCATING your money from your bank account to theirs! |
look at Michigan--they deal with snow well. Also other option is Maine. |
Conservative/libertarian stream:try Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire. |
That's not a little snow!
Look in the Smokey Mountains. Asheville NC. |
That's not north of MD. |
A suburb of Pittsburgh (Latrobe is further out but could work) or something in the Lehigh Valley (Bethlehem, Easton, Allentown). |
OP said they want to live north of MD not in MD. |
So many people need to learn geography here... |
They do exist but 99% aren't worth the cost. You can crowdsource this process here with similar or better results than you would get with a "specialist". |
