Tip for detailer?

Having my car detailed tomorrow. Mobile company that comes to house or office. Is a tip customary for this service?

I wouldn’t feel required to tip a detailer. They are getting full wage vs a waiter in a restaurant who does not.

Having said that, if your detailer goes beyond their normal job - because your car is beyond dirty- then yes I would tip depending on the work.

NP How is this different than an owner of a hair salon who most people say we should tip? I end up tipping everyone because it’s confusing.
