For those whose kids are have been offered an MLSNext/ECNL boys U13 spot and are new to the club, can you share what club you’re coming from?
A friend with a younger kid asked if it’s better to try to get into an MLSNext/ECNL club at U12 or U13. All these clubs are a hike (at least logistically more inconvenient than where they are) so they’re trying to not make a move until they have to. What would be easier? We made the move at U12 but if they are a highly technical and athletic player, I think it’s still doable at U13? |

| The sooner the better the ECNL/MLSNext clubs are large and are filling the additional roster increases with either top kids from 2nd team and top talent from other clubs. Tryouts will be very large at U13. |

apprently there is a boy in bethesda dual rostered ecnl and mlsnext Must be the bestest talent if so….

Given that Bethesda boys don’t have ECNL, either they are literally other/worldly or we have a unique 2024 situation in play. Or… you don’t know what you’re talking about. |

Maybe he meant Bethesda with MLSNext and another team like Potomac ECNL. Primary MLSNext player are not allowed so it is either Future Player or the like. |
