Nausea and wooziness in perimenopause

Anonymous
I’m not on hormonal medications right now, having been taken off the pill recently. (I posted about this). I’m having the kind of nausea that I had while pregnant- and I’m not pregnant - most days. I’d love to hear how others managed this, and whether it disappeared using estradiol patches with oral Progesterone - this is what my doc is likely to offer at my next visit. Thanks.

Yes, happened to me with peri. It mostly cleared up with an estrogen supplement (OTC) and birth control. I was also having the same kind of boob pain from when I was breastfeeding or early pregnancy but that also went away. Peri is a trip!!

How old are you?

Yes, it comes and goes but can last a couple of days. I can barely stomach the thought of food.

For some reason tums helped me with the nausea

Yeah, I didn’t even realize it was nausea until a few months ago. Just yucky at the thought of meat and vegetables
