IVF endo thickness

Anonymous
What's an ideal endometrial thickness with IVF and when? Mine is really thick but not one seems to think it's a biggie. I know there is a thing as too thin, but what too much?

I think REs like to see your endometrial lining to be at least 8mm thick before they do a transfer.

mine was 18mm with my first ivf which was unsuccessful. i used provera in the start of my cycle, to control the lining, and it was 16.5 at transfer with a successful cycle. i have heavy periods though.

OP I had a similar problem and my RE wrote a blog about whether the lining can be too thick....

I'm doing a natural FET and I'm day 8, and my lining was thin and did not have the 3 line pattern that RE's like to see. My period usually lasts for 8 days so I'm concerned that this will impact implantation, but my RE says it's fine and we'll look a gain in a couple of days. How can my lining build up while I'm still bleeding?

I'm day 7 of a natural FET cycle and I want to know what I can do to help the lining, it was thin 5 mm and no 3 line pattern, should I be concerned?

PP I wouldn't be concerned until day 10 of the cycle, do they do a trigger shot in natural FET cycles or just wait until you ovulate on your own?
