May be a dumb question, but...(laundry related)

Can I wash stuffed animals in the wash machine? What if they have plastic parts? What if they have little bells or what-have-you inside them? I am clueless, and DD's stuffies are getting full of baby drool...

I washed all used cloth toys and stuffed animals a friend gave to my baby before she was born. I didn't dry the stuff that had plastic on it in the drier though.

I wash all stuffed animals in the washer (delicate cycle) and air dry. Don't have any with bells, but plenty of plastic parts and so far, nothing bad has happened to any of them. We don't wash regularly, just every few months when it becomes critical!

I wash them too. I'm a bit germaphobic so if they get too disgusting I would stop using them. So I wash them and if they get ruined I'm no worse off than if I hadn't washed. And most of the time they are fine.

Most of them will come out fine. A few will pill. Usually it will say on the tags.

I wash them and than I put them in a pillow case when I dry them because it's supposed to help them stay fluffier...

DC's special "lovey" has a tag that says "Surface Wash" and I've washed and dried it maybe 50 times. It's looking very "loved," but hasn't lost any parts (other than his pink flannel nose, but I that didn't come off in the wash).
