Where oh where can I get a good falafel? I had a falafel in NYC at Taim, and LOVED it. I've tried falafel's here are there but can never seem to find one I like. I'm not too big of a fan of the Leabanese or Greek ones, I'm looking for one that you can have the Israeli salad in. Falafellllllllllllllllllllllllllll how I love you! |
| Have you tried Amsterdam Falafel in Adams Morgan? Delish and great fries too. |
| THere's a place in Adams Morgan, the 1600 block of Columbia Road, across from the Calverton, delish! |
| Max's in Silver Spring. |
| Where are you looking? |
| Another vote for Amsterdam Falafel in Adams Morgan. Also, there's a new tapas place on H Street in NE called Souk. They had really good falafel, too. |
| LOVE Max's in silver spring. |
| In addition to what's been mentioned, there's also Ali Baba (a stand outside the Bethesda Womens Farmers Market) and Maoz in Dupont. |
| Eli's Restaurant on 20th and N has a take-out storefront next door to the main restaurant where they sell falafel and shwarma. The falafel is awesome! |
| I second the Ali Baba falafel truck in Bethesda! It is softer than the others you get in this area which to me, are like hush puppies. (I love hush puppies, btw). |
This is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

I like the falafel here much better than Amsterdam Falafel.

| Nora Taste of Lebanon in Gainesville, VA. It's out there, but the food makes up for the distance. |
I've had both and IMHO Amsterdam is better. The fries there also kick ass! |
