| Does it have to be in DC proper? I think doi moi and yellow have fancy versions. McDonald's, Rita's, Thomas Sweet, and the food trucks on the mall are more classic versions. Also at nats park. Outside of DC, Jimmie Cone and Carmen's are my favorites. There used to be a carvel in Arlington but not sure it's there anymore. And Dairy Godmother is frozen custard rather than soft serve but it's good. |
