Good, inexpensive BBQ catering

Anonymous
Having a party next weekend and am looking for someone to cater BBQ. Right now, I'm leaning towards getting the pulled pork and some sides from Red, Hot & Blue, but wanted to see if anyone had any other suggestions. Tasty, inexpensive, and reliable preferred. I don't need them to deliver or staff it, just want to pick up a bunch of trays somewhere.

OP here. Forgot to mention that we're in FFX County.

We've gotten carry-out trays from Damon's and everyone liked it. Rocklands would be another good bet, but I like getting it closer to our house.

Rocklands in Arlington is really really good. I like it much better than Red Hot & Blue. Especially for carry out. I've also eaten catered BBQ from Old Hickory Grille in Loehmann's Plaza in Falls Church. It was great too.

I LOVE Rocklands for BBQ. I was raised in Memphis and it is the closest I have found to home.

Rocklands. Hands down. Yum.

Yes, I too vote for Rocklands (I'm familiar with the one in Glover Park). I used to work at American U. at it was a favorite at our office when we got catered lunches (fortunately no one was a vegetarian!).

I like Famous Dave's.

I used famous dave's in oakton twice. Both times showed up 15 minutes early, set it all up and the food rocked. The kids liked the mac and cheese and the cinnamon apples.

Willard's BBQ in Chantilly is awesome. They do catering/take out. Call ahead to place an order.

Willard's really is awesome. My husband is from Texas, very picky about his BBQ and he swears by Willards. Dixie Bones in Woodbridge is also outstanding (though not in Fairfax County).

I've gotten Famous Daves for a party and it was really good and all ready to go on time.
