| Kid has a drop off birthday party and it’s too far from our house to go home and return. Anyone have a rec for a restaurant for dinner in the general vicinity? |
| That’s next to Olney. Could go to Cava, GrillMarx, Salt and Vine, Olney Grill, El Andariego |
Probably 108 Pizza and Barbecue or Cava Mezze Olney |
| Or Cuba de Ayer in Burtonsville - really good Cuban food! |

You didn’t ask for this…but another nice option is a walk in the woods while the kid is at the party. The adventure park is surrounded by a state park and land owned by the Sandy Spring Quaker community (the school and the retirement community). The Underground Railroad experience trail runs through all of that, and it’s a nice low key hike in the woods and fields.
Or you could climb, too - I’m 50 and still love going there to climb. It’s big enough that you can stay out of your kids way so you don’t embarrass them.

| Cava restaurant is good. |
+1 108 pizza is good. |
| Bumping this because we re having a party at the adventure park and wondering where to order food from. Suggestions? Cava Mezze has some platters but not sure that tweens will appreciate that. |
I think you can order pizzas from the on-site food truck there. You can pre-order for a large group so they will be ready on time. |
| Head on up to the brookeville beer farm |
Thanks! That's a great idea. |
