Restaurant near Sandy Spring Adventure Park

Kid has a drop off birthday party and it’s too far from our house to go home and return. Anyone have a rec for a restaurant for dinner in the general vicinity?

That’s next to Olney. Could go to Cava, GrillMarx, Salt and Vine, Olney Grill, El Andariego

Probably 108 Pizza and Barbecue or Cava Mezze Olney

Or Cuba de Ayer in Burtonsville - really good Cuban food!

You didn’t ask for this…but another nice option is a walk in the woods while the kid is at the party. The adventure park is surrounded by a state park and land owned by the Sandy Spring Quaker community (the school and the retirement community). The Underground Railroad experience trail runs through all of that, and it’s a nice low key hike in the woods and fields.

Or you could climb, too - I’m 50 and still love going there to climb. It’s big enough that you can stay out of your kids way so you don’t embarrass them.

Bumping this because we re having a party at the adventure park and wondering where to order food from. Suggestions? Cava Mezze has some platters but not sure that tweens will appreciate that.

I think you can order pizzas from the on-site food truck there. You can pre-order for a large group so they will be ready on time.
