Fun date ideas?

Looking for a fun ideas for the stage of dating when you’re still trying to get to know each other, but dinner and drinks are getting old (and place right now, we both get out a lot for work, so going to the restaurant is almost a chore). We’ve been on a hike; could try a picnic; what else?

Depends on age / interests but some things I’ve done in the past:

Winery/brewery
Cocktail bar tasting flight (eg, Barmini)
Cooking class at Cookology or similar place.
Paint night
Bowling or arcade
Candle making (a couple of places to do this in NOVA)
Trivia night
Museum / zoo / botanical garden
Mini-golf
Go on a walk
Glenstone

Late 40s but very fit and don’t take ourselves too seriously - there’s not too much we would age out of esp since we’re not looking to meet other people!

I taught my then girlfriend (now wife) how to play poker on a date. She was initially bored but got into it we had a good laugh and when I dropped her off (she didn't have a car at the time) she invited me and you know the rest.....lol

Hopefully he is not boring like me but if I were at that stage I think sitting somewhere talking people watching is fun...but like I said don't my advice I am super boring. Best of luck with your relationship though 😊
