AP/ College Credit transfer to Virginia Tech

| DC, a rising sophomore, plans to take about 9 to 10 APs and is interested in engineering at Virginia Tech. I read VT has a limit of 38 credits granted for AP exams combined. DC also has the option of taking community college or other college courses over the next three years. Assuming VT admission, what are the best community college courses to target for to to gain maximum transfer credits at VT? I think the overall transfer credit limit is higher than 38. |

| Just a note of the wise you may take all those courses and the school will make you retake the class anyway. The engineering curriculum is very specific. |

this is not true. my engineering student did not have to take any with scores of 4 and 5. |
