Does travel season end now or does it go through mid-June?

Most, if not all, club final games are this weekend. There's no games scheduled after today. Are your clubs ending or are they still holding practice for a few more weeks.

My son’s previous teams all practiced into mid-June though kids leaving the team tended to not show up. He’s on a new team this year and I was surprised that after our final game yesterday they said have a great summer. So no more practices.

We tend to follow the public school schedule. Last NCSL game is June 8th. Last Practice June 12th (last day of school in FCPS).

Teams that have finished their games will revert to fun activities likes games and scrimmages. with 2 practices per week in June.

We only take off July.

What are high school age kids doing during summer since aged out of camps and no games. That’s a long time to not play.

You can do Super-Y in the summer.

Clubs don't control when leagues schedule the final games. Some of them are already done, some go into early June.

With most tryouts being complete, it can be hard to get kids to practices/games/tournaments for teams they know they won't be on next season.

I imagine if there was a trend, it would be that younger teams tend to practice beyond their last game more often, where as older teams will tend to call it quits.

Our kids team takes off the last week in June/first week in July. Rest of the summer is twice a week practice- including tonight even though we played all weekend.

We are U12 and joyously off after this week through July. We kick off the club training season with sleepaway camp for 5 days and go right into 3x a week practices.

NCSL, which is the biggest league in the area, has most teams done this weekend and a few games scheduled on June 8-9. ECNL league games are finished. There are a variety of teams who qualified for various types of post-season play who will keep training, but the very vast majority will be done after June 9 at the latest.
