| There are no good bakeries in this area, in my opinion. Heidelberg in Arlington will have a Black Forest cake. Many people seem to like Heidelberg. |

These are great bakeries, and we’re lucky to have them. But is someone looking for a Black Forest cake going to appreciate them? I agree with the Heidelberg recommendation. |

| Y’all are missing out if you don’t go to Korean bakeries. They have excellent, not cloyingly sweet baked goods, including beautiful cakes. |

| Classic Bakery had excellent cakes. They have a black forest cake although I have never tried that one. There's a location in Gaithersburg and one in Tysons. |

Swiss bakery is probably great!
I love, love, love Fresh Baguette with my whole heart. It is French, so they won’t have Black Forest cake, but everything there is delicious. |

| Why do you want a Black Forest cake, and if you want it, why don’t you make it? This is not in anyway a complicated thing to make, and no serious bakery will make it. |

| Heidelberg for sure. We had their black Forrest as one of our eroding cakes and it was out of this world!! |
