A friend gave me a small ice cream maker for a gift, and I'd love to try some flavors - but I've never made ice cream before!

Dave Leibovitz’s book The Perfect Scoop has amazing recipes. I love the vanilla ice cream.

+1. Everything in this book is great. My favorite is peanut butter!
